About Us
Kayne Kennels has been providing
quality Bearded Collies since our starting with Beardies in 1980.
Kayne Kennels has been in existence
since 1979, raising and showing a wide variety of breeds before
switching to our true love, the Beardies. It is our mission to
provide good homes to all the Beardies we sell, regardless of show
or pet quality. We believe the best way to achieve this goal is to
work closely with prospective buyers and try to get the closest
possible fit between Beardie and buyer.
Despite what you may have been
told, litters do not contain "all show puppies". Oh,
they may all be free of disqualifying faults and therefore be
eligible to be shown, but that does not mean that they win in the
show ring. Shows are beauty contests and not every Beardie born in
any litter is a Miss America.
I love to see my puppies when they
are all grown but when it joins your family, it is a member of
your family and I do not require inspection rights.
Older Dogs
Occasionally we have dogs or
bitches for sale who are past the puppy stage. These dogs may be
those that we have used for breeding and are now available for
placement or dogs sometimes become available whose new owners have
had to give them up for one reason or another. Special terms are
available on these animals.
